
Dr. Jim Koeninger
Chief Executive Officer
Jim is the Chief Executive Officer of CERI and has been involved with non-profit organizations since the mid-1970’s.
In 1980, he served as a consultant to Ken Smith as the success of JDG propelled the launch of JAG and the piloting of the JAG Model that was initially tested in Delaware. It was not until 1983 that Jim devoted more time and energy to JAG and was eventually given the opportunity to serve as Executive Vice President and CERI served as the Field Services Division of JAG responsible for Data Collection and Reporting, Curriculum Development, Training and Development, Site Reviews and Accreditation, JAG Model Handbooks, Technical Assistance, Meetings and Conference Management, Videography, Photography, Video Development, Website Development and Maintenance, Awards and Recognition, and more.
Jim taught at the secondary level for three years, he completed his bachelors, masters, and doctorate. He received his masters from Oklahoma State University and doctorate from The Ohio State University. Jim taught at five colleges anduniversities before he and Karen co-founded LDI and CERI. He is an author for McGraw-Hill.
